“Teach Me To Talk with Laura and Kate” for Thursday, October 29

On this week’s podcast we’ll be interviewing Ashley Ward, Curriculum Director for the Meredith Dunn School here in Louisville, KY. We’ll be talking about academic issues children with language delays may face as they begin kindergarten and elementary school. Ashley, also the parent of former “late talker”, will share her insights from both a professional and personal perspective.

The second half of the show Kate and I will be discussing something on air that we’ve been talking about for years - watching those Baby Whatcha-may-call-it DVDs really don’t turn infants into geniuses! Stay tuned  to hear what the New York Times had to say about that and our responses.
