Here’s this week’s Therapy Tip of the Week:
Therapy Tip of the Week 7.15.12
In this week’s video I’m discussing how to incorporate language into movement activities for very young children. Many times adults want a child to “sit down” and “listen,” but often our little friends with language delays also have sensory processing differences and NEED to move to attend and regulate. You’re missing an opportunity if you’re not embedding language and social interaction into these kinds of activities. The video provides several ideas, but if you need step by step instructions, please check out my manual for parents Teach Me To Play WITH You.
Until next time…
